Thread: how to extend ringing duration??

apologies if this is a repetitive issue but it drives me nuts that my ringtone on my Legend is so short before it goes to answer service.

is there an easy way to extend it?

Hi Flyswatter.

This is set by the network, not the handset. Usual default is 15 sec but you should be able to get this extended, depending upon the level of muppetry you encounter when you call your network provider.

For Vodafone the code to extend this is as follows:


1. Dial *#104# to get voice mail number
2. Dial *61*(mailbox number as above)*11*(delay required)#

The max delay is 30 secs with 5 sec increments.

Hi Guys, just done the dialling code on my wildfire to extend my ringtone duration and I'm pleased to say it's worked, put it to the max (30 secs).......Happy days
