Thread: HTC Signal problems

Hi to all, i have just got my first HTC legend but its not my first smart phone, i like alot of its features and some i will take some time getting use to, its a nice looking phone too and looks better than the htc desire. Anyway the problem is, is it a phone? every other time i pick it up there is the X on the signal bar even in good signal areas. I have updated it, reset it, and change sim cards etc so i am hoping the new 2.2 update will cure it. I have not seen it mentioned on this forum so far apart from the wifi which i think is PERFECT on the legend. Hope someone can throw some light on this problem. Thanks

Hope i have not spoke too soon, but have just held my Legend at the top for 45mins and signal has not dropped once. Normally it wont last more than 2 mins. Its not easy holding it at the top as you will keep catching the volume button and its difficult to press the 4 hardware buttons a the bottom without presure from under. Might get use to this and will post back later.

2.2 update not sorted out the signal issue yet may a reset might help?
