Thread: Sound on receipt of emails and messages

I have recently rearranged most things on my Legend (I can't stop fiddling) and all seems OK except for the fact that I now get a sound and the phone vibrates when receiving messages and emails.

Whilst in the house this is not too much of a problem but when travelling, especially at night when I am in the motorhome, it is a darn nuisance.

I have found out how to change the sound but not how to turn it off.

Can anyone offer me any help?

Just found the answer myself, in the pdf manual for the Legend. 1. Select Messages 2. On the first screen (All messages) select "Menu" 3. From icons select "Settings" 4. Scroll down to "Received notification" untick "Play notification sound" and possibly untick Vibrate".
