Default Legend no longer a phone after 2.2 update

Upgraded Legend with 2.2 update and now even when it says I have reception I cant make phone calls or send messages. No idea what happened and not happy that this update has made my phone a game console, thats not why i got it, if I wanted a game console with wifi i wouldve gotten a iPod touch.

    Default Sucks

I did the 2.2 update as well and was assured that great things would happen but it changed all my settings, so I am experiencing your frustrations also.

I have 2 legends on the same contract and have got one sorted out methinks but the other still won't 3G or connect to the Internet.

The Australian telecommunications providers outsource to India and the Philippines and I can't get much help from the.

The Sales and providers have no links on their website to communicate with them just a phone number that diverts you to overseas.

    Default

    Give this a shot.
Menue - Settings -Wireless & Networks - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names ...now whatever you have in the APNs with a green button touch that one and it should bring up Edit access point. Click Menu then Delete APN then Click Menue and press Reset to default. When you have done that your APNs window should show a setting with a white dot...touch the white dot and when it turns green press the black area next to it which should take you back to Edit access point...then press Menu then Save.
Hopefully this will get things sorted out for you if you haven't already done so whici I imagine you must have.
Anyway good reading for someone else eh!
