Thread: HTC legend disable gmail sync

Hi Expert

I tried to Google for my issue , but I could not find a proper solution to what I am experiencing

I am trying to disable my gmail account synchronization means if I delete an email from my HTC legend I don't like that email to be deleted from my gmail account.

What I did : Menu --> Setting --> Accounts & Sync --> Untick checkbox for "Background data" and untick checkbox for "Auto-sync",,,,,that didn't help me out

Although if the option above would have worked, it would have disable all applications not only the gmail,,,this is not what I want.

How can I disable only (mange individual application) the gmail sync leaving the other applications to be synchronized
