Thread: Service Center for text messaging.

My girlfriend recently purchased a MyTouch 3G unlocked and successfully setup a data plan with Centennial. The internet and other data works fine, however she can not text message. We contacted Centennial who gave us the "Service Center Number" we needed to use in order for text messaging to work, but they said they could not help us with setting it up on the specific phone since they do not support it.

We then contacted T-Mobile who told us there is no way to change the Service Center Number on the MyTouch 3G using the menus and settings. Is there any way we can change the Service Center Number otherwise? 3rd party programs? Tweaks/Edits? If not, my girlfriend just spent $360 on an unlocked phone and can't even text message.
