Thread: HTC Sync not recognising my HTC Magic

Hi,

I noticed there's a ROM update for my Vodafone HTC Magic available on the HTC website. I downloaded it and HTC Sync and tried following the instructions. However, I can't get either HTC Sync or the update to recognise my phone when it's plugged in. HTC Syncs notification icon never goes green, all that happens is my phone asks if I want to enable USB storage.

I've tried on my Windows 7 and my Windows XP machines and the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong?
