Thread: trouble with my g1 come magic

well hello folks please i need help, the story so far is i had a g1 with t-mobile and i love it however i smashed it up by cushing it in my car door, with no insurance and im tied in my contract with t-mobile till september so ive now got my hands on a htc magic from vodafone and it works with my t-mobile sim card in calls in and out and text in and out, but it doesnt ever pick up a 3g signal my t-mobile sim works and gets a 3g signal in an old nokia n73 and also worked fine in the g1 is there anybody that can help with some settings or tell me if it will ever work or not? also this forum thing is all new to me im much better with spanners and hammers than iam with computers many thanks
