Thread: Wiping my handset -- sparkling clean ---

Hello,

I am switching off of my Magic+ on the Rogers network in Canada, and I'm looking for a little guidance as to how safe the "factory reset" is. I understand that my data would never be 100% safe if I don't destroy the phone physically, but I want to know if the factory reset does a good job at making my old data very hard to get?
