Thread: Problems with downloading/updating on Market

Hi guys, sorry my first post is just a whinge.

I can't download or update any apps off of the Market, and it's doing my head in. A friend tried to "update" my phone using ROM Manager, and the app did install, but we never got around to sorting out the update. Now on the market it constantly displays "installing" for ROM manager (even though I could use the app), and I can't cancel it or anything.

I've tried Factory Data Reset, but all it seems to do is turn off the phone and turn it back on. Nothing is lost and my problem is still the same.

That's all the info my meagre technical understanding extends to I'm afraid.

If anyone could help me out I would be very grateful and will send you a slice of cheesecake for your efforts
