Default USB Debugging Mode, by default

    Hi friends,

I am Sandeep. I live in Mumbai, India.

I have recently updated my HTC One X to Android 4.1.1. Since the update, whenever i connect to a computer via USB, the phone is automatically going into USB Debugging Mode. The never used to happen before the update. Earlier it used to give me options about what I want to do when a USB is connected.

I have tried disabling Debugging option from "developer options" in setting. It does not work. As soon as I connect it next time, it goes into debugging mode.

I have tried to search for the option which helps me select what I want the phone to do when I connect to a PC. I could not find it.

    Please help.

    Regards
    Sandy.

i have the same problem, i cannot access my music or images on the phone, also on the main menu the three tabs on the bottom named All, Frequent and Downloads when you scrolled through them, they appeared in 3D, now it isnt the case and the graphics looks different, any chance of resetting it to its previous condition?

They have taken away the option to use the phone as a mass storage devise in 4.1.1 and do not give you the option to rollback. This is totally outrageous. The reason I switched from iphone to android was that Apple did these things and for HTC to do the same is very, VERY annoying. I would not have bought the phone if I knew this was going to happen and will not be buying another HTC.

You can still use the phone as a mass storage device, just plug it in and it appears under My Computer as a portable device? you can still create folders and drag files onto the phone.

Back to what i was looking for, i want to change the default USB debug so that it isnt on every time i plug the USB in to charge my phone, the extra icon annoys me!
