Thread: question on running programs

I want to run a windows CE program and my ozone mobile 6.1 wont let me any way on how to do this? Thanks

the file is an setup.exe and it says Alert 'setup' is not a valid Windows CE appilication? any help

This all depends on the program that you are trying to run. If it is an old WinCE prog, then most likely it is incompatible & cannot be used at all. Do you know what version of WinCE the prog was designed for? WM6.1 is AKA WinCE 5.2... {depends on device}.
It could also be a problem with processor compatibility. In the olden days of Windows devices; there were a few different processor instruction sets {MIPs, ARM, etc...}. Today, Most all Windows devices have one processor instruction set {ARM}. If the program you are trying to run is for a MIPS processor, it will never work on an ARM device. This would be like running a Windows 3.11 prog on a Win7 PC {Ain't happening}. Try looking around the web for a newer version or at least another prog that does the same thing.
