Thread: How to synch Gmail and folders?

Hello!

I successfully managed to get my S730 to synch with Gmail through Imap and I can see my inbox and read all mail. I also got the phone to see my sub-folders but it doesn't download the mail from the subfolders.

How do I make my S730 to download not only my inbox, but also my sob-folder mails from Imap Gmail? My old Nokia E70 managed to do it with the same settings on Gmail.

When you're looking at all the folders do you have a menu option that says manage folders? If you go into that it will show you what folders sync or don't sync and you can change them. Hope that works

I can get my S730 to se the folders, but it doesn't sync them. When I open the folders on the phone they are empty. I don't see any more folder settings than this. Is there any in another menu?

Ah! :idea: Finally found it! Now they sync perfectly!

A little hard to explain, but I will try.

Go to your nail account, then go to the chosing folder menu. When you see your folders on the screen, then press "menu". Then choose "Handle folders" or something(I have a swedish phone). There you choose which folders to synch and not. Piece of cake!
