Thread: no preinstalled gps software????p3300 wm6

hi all,very new to the ppc world so excuse my ignorance.just bought a htc p3300(aka artemis)manufactured may 2008,which seems to be operating on wm6,have a 2gb microsd as well.strangely it doesnt seem to have any preinstalled gps software???!!!nothing in the program list even though the external gps settings do show.have a mapking installer cd but reluctant to use as am from interior kerala,india and no maps available for the same.was wondering am i missin something??if so kindly guide bros,and if i am to install something new,suggestions welcome!!!!google maps???if possible how do i set it up???a tutorial would be great help.any other issues i should be aware of???what about overclocking??!!!omapclock vs batterystatus???ciao all!!!!

If you're looking for free try Google Maps or Google Navigator, I like Microsoft's Live Search also, but they all use data so only use if you have a plan. TomTom is great (but not free)

I own a P3300, and it comes with TomTom Navigator, but I can only download one city map for free.
