Wi-Fi ON disables Mobile Network?
Hey guys,
I've noticed that when I turn Wi-Fi on, the mobile network gets turns off right away which means no calls and SMS/MMS.
I have disabled LTE on the phone as my area isn't covered with LTE yet (I turn it back on at work since it's covered on the Montreal island) and the constant search for LTE drains the battery pretty drastically. AFAIK, that's the only setting I have changed that "could" affect the mobile network.
It's intermittant. Also, I normally turn on/off Wi-Fi from the notifications bar instead of going through the regular Settings page. Don't know if it could be a glitch with the notifications bar option as I haven't had the chance to replicate the issue by going the other way.
I'm using a Rogers HTC Raider LTE (X710a), locked SIM, unlocked bootloader, original Rogers firmware.
Android version: 2.3.4
Sense version: 3.0
Software number: 1.65.631.1
Kernel version: 2.6.35.13-gc1166ee
Baseband: 1.11.1020.03_30.77.551061.02L
Build number: 1.65.631.1 CL175411
I'd rather NOT have to factory-reset the phone again (already done it 3 times since I got the phone last week...) but if needed, I'd do it...
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!
