Thread: SD card unexpectedly unmounts

Hi everyone,

Lately, my phone has been giving me this error. It seems to happen when I download directly onto the SD card from an App. It also happened when I moved Apps over to the SD card from this phone, which I don't do anymore. It has also happened randomly when trying to listen to music that I have on my SD card.

Oh, one more thing, it seems that when this happens, I can't turn my phone off through the 3 choices - I have to do a hard reset (press the power button until it turns off).

Any thoughts on this?

Your SD card slot might be dirty, or your SD card life is almost ending and needed a new one.
