Thread: My PC isn't reading MY HTC DASH EXCALIBUR

guys, please i need help, My PC wont read my HTC Dash whenever i connect it thru USB port, and i want to save files on my phone. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, any help would be appreciated. Nothing happens even after running Windows Update {Win7 x32}, it's just recognised as "unknown device".

~edit~ SOLVED. Who knew I just had to actually reboot my phone, not PC or anything. Try doing that joyerzzz and see if it works for ya, and make sure you have like Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 or whatever is the latest version.

~edit 2~ apparently NOT SOLVED. been a few days, tried conencting through usb again and nothing happened, rebooting the phone doesn't do anything to solve the problem anymore. Only thing happens is that "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" thingy shows up in device manager under Network Adapters tab.

I can't believe how HTC is ignoring it's customers like this, I even tried contacting the customer support and all I get is some african person repeating the same stuff to me over and over even though it's irrelevant to my problem. Please fix this if you care about returning customers at all!
