Thread: Installation of programs in HTC S711

Hi,
I need a help. I have a device HTC S711 with windows mobile 6 Standard and can not do work or the Home HTC, HTC nor the Home Customizer v1.0 BETA 5 and neither the SPB Time. They are the 3 that I found interesting.
I installed the first HTC Home and at the end of the installation says that the software will not show correctly pq was designed for an earlier version of my windows mobile.
I tried to install the SPB Time via USB and end of the installation "SPB Pocket Plus 4 supports Pocket PC 2003/Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 only. Installation will be aborted."
Recalling that my version is Windows Mobile 6 Standard.

Someone help me please?

Hey Danilo,
I believe the issue you are having is because although those programs support windows mobile 6, I believe they are only made for pocket pc's (touchscreen devices) while I think the s711 is a smartphone (no touchscreen). I'm pretty sure that the standard version is for smartphones while windows mobile 6 professional is made for pocket pc's.

While browsing for programs try to stick to sites that are smartphone specific like http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/
