I bought this phone around four month ago and I am totally fed up from this phone's internal memory problem. I will never purchase this company's phone ever. HTC told this phone has 512 MB internal memory and hardly it has 120-150 MB memory. Why anyone buy a android phone when he can not access it's market. A total loser company. That's why it is failing sharply now.

Default this phone is a total scam....

worst phone possible, total waste of money, this phone cannot be called a smart phone....and all because the internal memory is just 150MB...such a small thing makes such a awesome phone totally useless...i thought nothing could be worse then nokia symbian, but this is worse, atleast on symbian phone i can install apps...

I discovered that the used spaced in the Contacts Storage is too big. The contacts in my phonebook at that time is around 20 only with no photos in the contacts and the used space is 57MB! What I did is I cleared the data by going to the phone settings > applications > manage applications > all > contacts storage. But before doing this I have recorded my contacts in other phone. So it's obvious that all my contacts are gone after I cleared the data. I input again all my contacts in my Salsa and I checked again the Contacts Storage used spaced, it is only 2.57MB! Now I don't anymore encounter low internal memory problem. Hope this works for you...
obviously aries you have never used a decent phone...and dont, else you will realise your solution is a joke...

    Default possible solution

has anyone tried this - HTC Salsa C510e Rooting - Englebert Life

looks like a complicated solution and i don't understand all the steps, not to mention the instability issues if you merely remove and put back your sd card...
