Default Ram being eaten up but slower responsiveness

    Hi,

I recently got the Sensation XE and have had it for a week or two now. in the last couple of days, my RAM usage suddenly shot up (going from averaging 200mb free to less than 100mb free). I haven't installed anything recently so there isn't a new application eating it up.

I've read that task killers aren't neccessary and also less free ram reported should mean better performance. firstly, task killers haven't done crap and i have less ram yet its running far slower than when i first got it.

    Any advice?

I use the advanced task killer and it seems to work fine. Also I move the the apps and updates over to the sd card as much as possible. Failing that make sure you have your phone synced with google and do a factory reset. Hope this helps.

Re-start the phone once in a while, especially if you uses Facebook, Browser and Apps with Ads since they uses up a lot of RAM if you keep running them. =)
