Thread: problems with my Sensation XL

I am extremely upset with this product at this point in time. I have loved it since day 1 then i had a problem with it it kept freezing but before that it made this awful crackling sound and this ringing beep which was similar to what you hear when deafened after a concert. I returned it within a month and received a new one I received this one on Saturday and it has just reoccurred again. For every sound effect it makes a crackling and beeping sound and when i lock and unlock and turn it off and on. I'm considering returning it again for a different htc but i love this phone so much that i think i will just have to suffer. If anyone has any advice or ways i can contact htc to see if its a general problem or that I am just unlucky, I would be grateful. Hoping this is linked to htc themselves but 'im obviously not certain. Any tips and advice would be good or if its happened to anyone else. Thank you.

how many apps do you have? and can you define the crackling a bit more? is it like the speaker is distorted or just when you lock/unlock your phone?

Hello, Heres my story, I had the HTC Desire and loved it so when i was due an upgrade with Vodafone I wanted to stick with HTC Android :-) so i got the Sensation XL, First off it needed to be back ordered as they had run out, I took this as a good thing as people must have wanted it, So i got my XL and it was ok, it wasnt the Desire and Foyo so i gave it a chance and found it to be difficult to sync and play music, i Called Vodafone and they gave me another one next day happy days, it all works ok now however It freezes now and a gain and resets my tones to default, Im hoping that HTC are aware of this issue and will fix it, Other than that however i have to say I AM A FAN Gingerbread is ok however i dont like not haveing the Blue LED or removible SD Card..what apps have i put on...
