sensation xl choppy music
My sensation xl has random lag when playing music with the standard player, it halts for a few milisec and then continues. It happens about every 15 sec but also sometimes several times in a row.
I've tried turning off beats audio, wireless and mobile broadband, turning performance power setting on, but nothing changed.

Finally, thank goodness mystiskem for posting, I thought I was going crazy. My Sensation XL has been doing the exact same thing!! There we go it must be a fault! I even tried mine hooked up to my speaker doc and it did the exact same thing it did with headphones in. I knew I was not imagining it. It really is annoying to the point where I just can't listen to mine at all, which is not why I bought the Sensation at all, I bought it to use as a mp3 and phone.
Please HTC let us know how we can remedy this soon, my phone is just a smart phone now not a smart phone with amazing audio beats as advertised. I love the phone in every other way but need a fix for this soon.

Vodafone have got back to me and they think it is a hardware issue to do with the phone headphone Jack socket. I have noticed I can make the music choppy by pressing the power button on the top of the phone.
Hope this helps

I have the exact same problem, power button and all, it is extremely annoying. Additionally a few days ago it rapidly skipped through tracks completely autonomously and wouldn't stop until I closed the music player using the task manager (but this has only happened once so far). The only reason I got this phone was for the music player!
