Thread: HTC Sensation problems

hi,

Does HTC have a solution for these problems ?

I bought this phone 6 months back. No wonder HTC sense UI and the looks of the phone caught my eyes, I was so proud of owning it when others boasted about their S2s. But its not the same any more.

My battery doesnt last longer than 8 to 10 hrs.
Phone keeps restarting when i try to pick some one's call or try to make a phone call
Messages take a long time to open.
My god, timing of sending or receiving the messages are not synced.
Sound is too low.
Has death grip problem when i hold the phone from the bottom.

I always dreamt of owning this phone, I hope HTC comes up with some updates or workaround for all the problems and make me a happy customer who can say to all - "its worth every penny "

The only problem you have that may be in the same line with others is the battery. It's pretty much the same with all smart phone. Try to get a larger capacity battery. The rest of your problems... It seems that you may have gotten a defective phone. I just got a used one and have no problem so far.

HTC Sensation / Sense Problems:
(my phone is set to use all the powersaving options and I only turn 3g / 4g on if i need to use the internet)
1. In the onscreen keyboard the shift button is too close to the "a" key so I often get a capital letter in the middle of my sentences. This also messes up the predictive text.
2. I set my ringtone as one of the mp3 music files on my phone. At seeming random times the ringtone changes back to one of the default htc tones. This also happens with text message tones and other notification tones.
3. Sometimes the phone will run from full battery to 0% in a matter of hours while I am not using it at all, and while all the tasks are killed in the manager.
3.5. This is pretty bad when I have an alarm set to wake me up in the morning and I wake up, not only late but also to a phone that has died.
4. The battery can run from 100% to 50% while running applications or playing a game. This can sometimes happen in the space of 30mins or less. The bottom back part of the phone also heats up quite alot during this time.
5. I can no longer use National Rail Enquiries - Official source for UK train times and timetables or the mobile version on the phones browser (where I could use it before). It just fails to work.

Otherwise its an alright phone.
