    Default Help! Internet Pass-Through not working on Sensation

    Hi!
    I have Sensation running Android 2.3.4. I am trying to use the Internet Pass-Through feature. I also have the latest version of HTC Sync and HTC USB Drivers installed on my laptop running Windows 7.

    When I connect the mobile to the laptop and select the Internet Pass-Through option, it says that the same is active on the mobile, but I cannot access any internet on the mobile. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall HTC Sync and all drivers a couple of times already, but still not working.

    Please help me with possible solutions asap...

    I would say that your computer is set to not allow others to connect to the internet through it. Part of the Network and File sharing set up.

    It was working earlier. I had recently uninstalled HTC Sync, as I was having other problems with syncing contacts. The problem started after I reinstalled HTC Sync.

    Try uninstalling HTC Sync and then try Int. Pass-Through. If it then works it must be sync that is changing a setting.

    Tried that also, but no good. Any other ideas please.

    Have you tried Menu, Settings, Connect to PC, Default Connection Type? and made sure it's not on Charge Only or some such setting?

    Everytime, I connect the USB cable, it gives me the option to select the type of connection I want. I select Internet Pass-Through, and after a couple of minutes the 2 arrow icon appears in the notification bar indicating that Internet Pass-Through is active.

    In that case you have internet access. What happens after that?

    Nothing happens. While Internet Pass-Through shows as active, I still do not get any internet on the phone. I have checked the connection under 'Network and Sharing Center' in the Control Panel on my laptop, and it shows the connection as a LAN Connection active, but 'Access Type' is No Internet Access'. My regular Internet connection on the laptop shows as 'Access Type'-Internet.

    check for firewall settings it will b preventing the use of internet pass through...
