Thread: WAP/mobile browser friendly version of site

Well I've been hard at work to set up an optimized forum style that works well on a mobile browser. Not releasing it officially yet but give it a try at http://wap.htcforums.com/

That will forward you to it. It will look ugly on a pc, but will be smaller and quicker on pocket ie.

Only the main pages are cut down and optimized for the most part. That means some features have been slashed from the index, forum lists, topic lists, post views and posting page in the name of quicker and cleaner wap browsing. All other forum pages just have css changes (text and image changes). There is still a bit of stuff to be done.

Hi, I have visite the site on my mob and it looks great. Only when I have to log in, I have to scroll right to find the login position. And some icons are not to see, I see only a red cross.
But further it looks great.

Thanks for the feedback. What view mode do you have your pocket internet explorer on? On one column it should be fine, you were probably using desktop view?

Which icons aren't showing up? It would be the topic or forum icons? or maybe the post and reply buttons?

I have visit again the site on my mob. And everything seems to be oke now.
I used explorer and the viewmode is 320 x 240 screen
and it is very better than the first time. It is quick and I think it is oke now.
I have click on several links and it's oke.
So good luck with the forum on mobile.
