Default Suggestion to convert to vbulletin

I would suggest getting a vbulletin lisence. I believe vBulletin better supports massive users. And could bring better opportinities to design and flexibility.

Even tho the ACP in vbulletin is kinda poorly designed compared to the phpBB forum.

Your call, just a thing that crossed my mind when I first visited

Not sure why you would suggest vbulletin. As for a forum infrastructure goes, it's completely antiquated compared to the newer releases of phpBB and there's nothing to suggest vbulletin does a better job in supporting larger forums. I'm a member of a few 50,000 member phpBB and then run just fine.

Thanks for the suggestions Haakon, I know you have experience with internet communities and you know what you're talking about.

We are running phpbb3 here, with a custom theme, and seo modifications. I've had some experience with vbulletin and it is a great system and would take it over phpbb2 yes, but with the newest release of phpbb3 it has a lot of necessary features that it lacked before, and no doubt can handle a lot of users. I think the 2 are almost equal in features now. Depending where vbulletin or phpbb heads in the future a switch could happen, but for now phpbb3

hehe, I see your points. Maybe its just me getting tired of old phpbb

No doubt vbulletin is a very good forum and very nice design, but then again you've managed to get the forum theme very good looking!

Lemme know if theres anything you need help with, i'll be glad to help out as much as I can, even tho my HTC experience is at zero (for about 2 more week)

    Cheers!
