Problems with the forum upgrade

Did you try the what's new at the top? Not quite the same but it shows the newest threads with activity

Yes, I tried it, just don't like it as much as the old "Unanswered Posts" link. I was just trying to find a way that didn't involve looking thru a hundred posts, just to find the one post for that damned Vid convertor spam that shows up ten times a day. No sweat tho. Having to do a lil' extra searching is a small price for the vast inprovements.

I also had problems with the messaging system. It would not allow me to send any PMs because it claimed that my box was full. But when I went into the boxes, it wouldn't display any messages at all. It claimed that I had 73 messages out of a possible 50. I know that there were not that many PMs in system before the switch over; at max I had 15 messages stored. I had to clear out the messages before it would allow me to send anything. I lost all the messages that I had before the switchover {Not a big deal, but I had wanted to keep a couple of them because they contained contact info}.

Go to the appropriate forum section and click the green post a new thread button

Found a bug.

On the New Forum Threads box, if you click the name of the person last replied to the thread, it points to the profile of the person starting the thread instead.

I see what you mean. I have a couple updates to apply over the weekend that have a lot of bug fixes

In order for my photo to be posted, I had to insert it in the AVATAR field.
