Problems with the forum upgrade

P.S. I believe all users timezones defaulted to GMT, go to http://www.htcforums.com/profile.php?do=editoptions and you can set your appropriate time zone.

While you're in there you might want to switch from the Basic Editor to the Enhanced Interface, all imported users defaulted to the Basic

I thought you knew - the avatar function is not working: the only option is "Do not use an avatar"

Loving the new look. The feature improvements are great.
So far the only problem that I can find is search patterns. I'm probably just missing something but; I can not figure out how to get an ego search or an unanswered post search. With the old system, there were links at the top of the page for both these options. I went into my profile & clicked "Find all posts", but got "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms". Is there a way to perform an ego & unanswered post search?


Edit > Scratch that. The search engine is not working at all! Every search I have tried has returned the same error. The address bar shows "http://www.htcforums.com/search.php?searchid=###" The ### keeps changing, but the error remains. A couple #'s I've seen is 334, 335, 336, 337... See a pattern here?

Just found another probem. Private messages are not migrated or not correctly migrated.

I get the same message in Inbox as in Sent Items - it was a reply to someone's private message and now the original is gone and this copy in Sent Items is telling me I sent it to myself???

Saw a warning on the top of every forum page to remind me to re-create account. Not sure if there is any issue. Just post here as a test. Sorry and please ignore.

You can close the box by clicking the "X" button in the top right corner. Once you click it the Warning will not reappear.

The warning appears to remind you that the system has been changed over & you need to reset your password. It also provides a quick link to this forum incase anyone has any problems.

Also selected "Subscribe to this thread and notify me of changes" and though two people have posted no email notification received.
