Thread: How can i throw this phone at HTC team who made HTC smart

Pls help me to find ways to throw this phone at HTC team head who made HTC smart....i swear i wont miss even from 200 ft.

I never thought HTC can make such a superdumb Phone.

Rotten OS..
No call Management( incoming call blocking, etc)
Single Ringtone for all contacts !! holy shit !!
No FM recording
No voice recording
No document reader,no pdf,docs,xcl,txts etc
Crappy music player,
average call clarity,
very bad camera,
cant play most video formats
lots of functionality available in BASIC phones is missing.
no utilities like currency converters, etc


I am totally frustated.I really want my money back.

Btw, is it possible to upgrade OS to windows 6.5 or Android 2.1 ?
Can its hardware support them?
Pls help otherwise this dumbphone is just a brick for me

No, it is not possible to upgrade !!! and yes u are true.. i am really missing the feel of other htc models.. also, 3rd party app cant be used !! what the hell??

3rd party .jar files can be used on any unlocked HTC Smart phone. The Smart was made as an 'introductory' smart phone for people on a budget. Compare it to the price of other phones, and you can understand it's target market.

Am also feeling very bad about this phone features.
Even some times it is hanging while getting any incoming call.
If possible i will also change my OS to Widows or Android.

It's not possible to change to Windows or Android OS. My best advice is to sell it and get an introductory Android handset.

Agreed, but different point of view. I bought it because of its low price and because that's enough for me what the phone knows (okay I miss the PDF reader too). But for Gods sake if I buy a phone with this specifications I expected to know these few things and to work properly, but that's not what I got... I wrote down the bugs here: HTC smart problems, and I think these are unacceptable from a HTC mobile whatever OS running on it and whatever hardware is under the hood...
