I think you will try this one with Total Video Converter software where you can convert your video in many format of video. In this converter, they provide many different format so that you can use it with your compatibility of your htc smart.
Hope this will help you and you can get better solution.

Hi sinalplsd!
Could you explain about this convertion issue? Where could I get a converter to do the process as you described it?
I've got my converter from here - Convert AVI to MP4, One Free Video Converting Software. But the result - after converting a movie and puting it into HTC Smart SD card on screen appears such message "a file of this frame size cannot be played ".
So, may be the issue is with the converter, but were to get a proper one?

To answer my own question - "AVS converter 8" might work. At least it works with me.
The only issue, the movie lenght I have now in my mobile is 1:45 but the "forward" scale only has 45 minutes. It should be OK if you whatch the film from the begining till end. But then, how to start whatching it from min.55?
The "AVC converter" has the "split" option which I choose, but in the final version the movie was not split, all in one piece as the original.Last edited by gio; 09-25-2011 at 12:48 PM.
