Thread: M tattoo won't recognize my SIM card

I've been an owner of a HTC tattoo for a couple of months now and suddenly it doesn't want to register the SIM card, it just says "no SIM card in phone"

Is this something relatively common or is it likely to be a technical issue?

I will admit to have dropped it one floor onto a spiral staircase, but that happened about a month before it stopped working

And I do actually have a SIM card inside the phone

I dropped my Tattoo on the floor too once, and had the same problem, but I solved it by removing the SIM card and put it back in, and that was that, but I suppose you've already tried that :-)

that happened to me when i got mytattoo it ended up being because i didnt put my sim in properly you have to pushit in whilst sliding and it needs to make a click! hopefully this is whats wrong!!!
