Thread: Htc Tattoo Unlock

Hi,

hoping someone could help me. I put my tattoo back in my pocket today without locking the screen, unfortunatly i have the pattern recognition unlock activated and its locked the phone.

Now the phone wants me to enter my Gmail address and password.

I dont have a Gmail account my phone is linked to a bt broadband internet account which I have always received my emails through with no problem.

However its prompting me to enter a Gmail account and pass to unlock the phone, which I dont, and have never had. The Bt pass which I know is correct for the account is invalid according to the phone, but not to BT where I have logged in straight away .

I only have one email address, and so tried the Gmail account finder which says it will post a mail to anyone who forgot there account user name, in the vain hope that I had set up a Gmail account just to get the phone going and forgotten, it seems this is not the case as Gmail have never heard of me or my only email address.

I dont know what I can do from here, hoping someone has an idea, perhaps someone else using a different email provider such as Bt has had a similar problem, it doesnt appear in any F.A.Q's....

The same darn thing has happened to me. But it was in my pocket the whole time, it must have rubbed against my wallet or something...but I don't have a clue what to do. HELP!!!!
