Thread: Titan II Randomly Drops Cellular Data Connection

Unpredictably, my brand-new HTC Titan 2 will drop it's data-thru-cellular connection. Only ways to get it back are to reboot the phone, or cycle Airplane Mode on, then off. Luckily, I can switch on WiFi at home and it'll do it's data stuff that way. But when I'm away from WiFi (whether I have WiFi on or off) it just randomly loses the data connection and won't get it back.Phone calls and text messages are unaffected.

Promised to keep everyone updated. A number of trips back and forth to Florida demonstrates that this problem doens't exist in Tampa. Would love to know what it is about the network in Detroit that keeps the phone from maintaining a cellular data connection.

Or if there's some workaround.

Would also be nice to hear from someone at HTC. Helloooooo...?
