Thread: Titan 2 switching itself off.

Last night, my phone switched itself off and does not switch itself back on, when I plug in the mains it allows me to switch it on and I get to "smart mobility" screen with the lil vibrate feature, but then it will switch itself off then back on again and repeat this process..

I am using a HTC titan II, can anyone help me with this please?

Is it fixxable? I dont want to send it off, I would rather fix it myself or just buy a new phone.

I would try doing a hard reset. Hold both soft keys down and press the soft reset button at the same time.

Thanks for reply, I tried a hard reset and it just gets stuck on the screen with colors? red green blue, I have no idea how to go further, I cant re flash rom due to not being able to switch the device on.

Im clueless, my pc wont even pick it up because its always off and the only way to power it on is with a usb cable / charger cable, and then it just switches on and resets itself.

Hard Reset :
1. Press and hold the left SOFT KEY and the right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use
the stylus to press the RESET button at the bottom of your device.
2. Release the stylus, but continue pressing the two SOFT KEYs until you see the onscreen instructions to proceed with Hard resetting your device.

Try pressing the Volume Up botton when you see the screen with the colors. See if that works.
