Thread: Replacement ribbon cable

Hi there, I have a question for anyone who's had some experience repairing the PPC6800.

Recently the sliding hinge on the phone had come loose on one side, and when the phone fell out of my hand, the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the phone body tore. Now, of course, the screen for the phone does not work.

Does anyone know what this part is called? It's a ribbon that's about 2-4 inches long, about an inch wide, and copper in color.

Usually just called the ribbon cable or flex cable, not sure about specific part number but a quick ebay search came up with this
