Thread: Align set up Problem

Hello all,
So I got my HTC Touch 3G this afternoon and first time i turn it on I am brought to a screen titled : "Align", telling me touch the screen for the cross-hair to go round the four corners of the screen, I do so but upon completing the process the screen goes white for about 1-2 seconds and then the "align" screen re-appears, anyone had this problem? Am I maybe doing it wrong? sorry the phone is in dutch and I had to use google translate to understand what it was asking me so perhaps the translation was not exact.
Also, my friend got himself one a couple of weeks before and in the slot to place the battery there was what I think is a black copper foil as well as in the youtube videos I have seen reviewing the product and noticed I didnt have anything there, is that normal?

I think its normal. I also took some time to do it. i did like 4-5 times of align as each time it refreshes. For the black copper foil are u refering to the battery pack there the plastic to remove the battery easily? I dont think without that it will affect your phone. Its just to ease removing battery.
