Thread: HTC touch 3g died!!!

Hi,

I am an owner of a HTC Touch 3g bought on Dec. 24th. The device is in excellent condition and I did not have any trouble with it.

However, today when I was pressing the power button to deactivate the screen the reaction of the device was 4-5 sec slow. At some time I decided to reboot the device to solve the problem but since then...the device is DEAD, which means that does not start nor when I charge it reacts (light does not turn on).

Any ideas????? please?????

Have you managed to solve this problem? I'm asking because I was thinking of replacing my Nokia E51 with the HTC 3G. My Nokia displays exactly the same issue as your HTC. I replaced the battery and updated the system ROM and the phone died again on me this morning. Now I have 2 dead batteries.
