Thread: Haywire sms time of departure glitch!

Hey all, newbie here so there it goes....

I have recently picked up an HTC touch 3G and have to say that I am impressed and touched every step of the way! Only one glitch though and that would be the irregularity at which my sms messages arrive. You know that little time tag that identifies when the sms has actually been sent so that your phone can arrange them accordingly? well that has been malfunctioning with mine and as a result my sms inbox is in shambles!

I happen to have a very huge sms turn out and this damn thing is driving me crazy since I have to practically fish around for the newly received smses as it dates them from 5 days ago to 3 days into the future.

Somebody told me that it might be my carrier so I tried with another one and it was not the case. That same somebody also suggested that it might be all the various software I have loaded into it, in specific a ton of language and date conversion packs. I hard reseted my touch 3G to its factory defaults and still the bug was there :x
