Thread: Backlight on all the time???

My Touch 3G for some reason has the back light on even when its not being used.

When im useing it its a bright light but after 30 secs of not useing it its goes to a dull backlight and stays on that till i next use it.

Is there anyway of getting so the backlight is not on all the time?

Sounds like it's already off. The screen should remain visible when backlight is off (a "dull" view) - that's how LCD works by design.

If you want the screen to go off altogether, setup Power to turn off the device after so many minutes or simply press once briefly on the power button.
