Thread: No sound anymore in HTC Touch 3G

I have an HTC Touch 3G

Since some days, when someone is calling me, I don't have sound anymore.

The sound on the external speaker or the headset is working fine. But not the "normal sound".
I cant hear my contacts.

Tried normal reset, hard reset... Nothing helps.

Any clue?

The earpiece may have been blown so no reset will help. This was a common problem on some HP windows mobile phones but it's not unheard of on HTC units.

You need to send it in for repairs and since this usually involves motherboard being replaced, do back up your data beforehand.
