HTC TOUCH 3G IS IT ME OR DOES THIS PHONE SUCK

I cannot think of a good thing to say about this phone. It has almost ended up being thrown against various brick walls and concrete floors on numerous occasions out of complete and utter frustration and despair. I'm only going to list a few things wrong here as I would fill up about 20 sides of A4 paper.
I used to have text messaging down to a fast fine art on my old phone, however with this the full querty buttons are so small that i just end up spelling words like a primary school child learning the alphabet it's painfully slow. Yes I could use the stylus however I have had stylus's break on me because of the awful design of them, the pressure point on the stylus is made of plastic so after a while they snap. Even using phone input method for text doesn't help because the action from letter to letter gets lagged up and again It misspell words.
When I am speaking on the phone my ear hits the start button almost every-time and so I have random programs starting and interfering with the conversations.
The whole system is so convoluted and complex that when you want to do the most basic of things you have to go through so many menus trying in vain to try and locate the specific thing you were after that by the time you do find it you've completely forgotten what it was that you were looking for or why.
As for the internet on a daily basis it can take up to 1 and a half minutes to down load pages, pages like google or face book, some of the time even when it does download the page the phone gets stuck and I have to re start the whole thing over again.
The actual device gets confused when switching from one program to another, gets stuck hen decides to give me two fingers and crashes the only way to sort this out is hard re set.
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on with the problems with this phone. I cannot wait for my contact to cease so I can throw this terrible phone into the nearest deepest darkest lake where it belongs.

Please if any one is ever considering getting this phone DONT DONT DONT , Avoid like a case of Ebola with a joint dose of Yellow Fever and Hepatitis.

Well although you can apparently spell, your grammar leaves much to be desired.

You are basically complaining about the touch screen. If I may be so bold, what did you expect? Personally I have no problems with my "texts lagging", and my phone has not crashed on me once. I will concede, however, that the texting does take a while to get used to. Now I've used my phone for a good 2 months I very rarely make mistakes.

As for its internet connection speed, that is more likely to be the area you're in rather than the phone itself; I get a HSDPA connection (or at the very least 3G) wherever I go, and pages take at most 10 seconds to load.

I have used it for just under a month and never have had the problems you mention. I don't have any issues with texting, I use the Phone Keypad with T9.

i've been using it for a couple of months now... to be honest it seems to be a fantastic device so far.. absolutely no issue.. touch experience is as smooth as one can expect... no crashes so far (i am in fact a heavy weight user)... even no third party software gave me any sort of problem (i've been cautious in selecting third party software though). my ear didn’t interrupt any calls as the display locks itself about one or two seconds after you dial.

only thing i miss - no accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate.

so far.. best velue for money (thank god i chose it over nokia).

planning to upgrade to WM 6.5.

All the things you say don't happen to me and I use it for more than just calling!
For the rest it seems like you have troubles with the touchscreen, take more time to learn it.
Put your keyboard in "normal phone mode" and you can type like before!
When I speak the screen of my phone gets off, so I CANNOT push the start button. And even if the screen is on, it's difficult to hit the start-button. strange
Try other phones and you'll see, you are too difficult.

Get to know the thing, it's not just a phone, it's more...

Get faster internet, my pages load a bit longer than on my pc.

Wich programs are you using? I use TomTom 7, switch to phone, messaging, listen to audio,... without letting the phone hang? Do you actually have the latest rom?

I'm telling you, this is the best Windows mobile smartphone I've ever used.

I've binned this phone and got a new one and I hope that anyone who reads this who is contemplating getting the HTC touch 3g DONT please just DONT do it, your only letting yourself in for a whole heap of sxxt... it's nothing but an absolute nightmare
