    Default Problem with fone voice

I came across a problem, not observed using other phones (I bought my 3G last week)- my callers complain they hear an unpleasant metallic sound and hear themselves while talking and later with some delay (sort of echo?). This is really tiresome as they don't hear me properly and I have to repeat stuff a lot. What's wrong? Is it my phone?
Another thing- while writing (SMS or other texts) I don't have the phone keypad and compact qwerty in the input panel, only full qwerty, transcriber and letter/block recognizer. Why? how to fix it? It's really tedious to use full qwerty with a stylus and quite inefficient with a finger.
Please- advise me if you know how to solve these two.

Metallic sounds and echo's are mostly caused by 2 things.
    1) noise on the line (bad connection etc.)
    2) A speaker that's too loud.

The other thing, when you have your keyboard open, there is a small arrow up besides (actually a triangle, but okay). Hit it. Select options, and choose from the options there. That should solve your keyboard issue.

Thanks, the first (bad connection) is probably not the case, but the second (too loud speaker) is maybe right.
