Thread: htc skins

i am looking for a skin for the alltel touch but i cant seam to find a good one. i dont like the one in the picture below. I've seen the ones with a little cut out where the carriers symbol is cut . That one is better but is there one with the whole screen and the silver surrounding the screen also cut out so i could hit the x in the upper right hand corner without problem. and use the touchflo without a problem.

I have been looking for them myself. At least the Alltel page still says comming soon

I'm in the same boat, I haven't seen any skins put out by any of the phone companies yet, and ebay ones usually are lacking quality.

This is the closest one I've found to what I want

But still to thick, and looks like it gets in the way of the screen a bit

I want one that's thin, fits tight, goes around the screen, and is smooth (not like those rubbery skins)

Also make sure you don't accidentally get one for the GSM Touch, easiest way to tell is look at the back of your Touch, the GSM has the camera mirror straight above the lens at the 12 o'clock position, the CDMA Touch's mirror is off to the left a bit, like a 11 o'clock position

Has anyone tried the Invisible Shield? I was thinking about try it, they have a full body version and a front-only version, but I wanted to see if anyone else has it. I'd hate to put a bulky case on my nice slim Touch!

I tried it but I didn't like it much. The case that comes it keeps the phone feeling small

I've heard good about the invisibleshield stuff, but I'm worried about it being glossy when the Touch isn't. I'd probably only go for the screen protector part

any updates on cool skins for the Touch???

I have a iPhonesque transparent hard plastic casing with psychedelic patterns on my Touch that slips on the phone but wrapping only up to the edges. Its only caveat: power button is hard to press because it's covered by the casing, but nothing that a sharp cutting knife won't cure.

Cost: USD5 (equivalent)

Sadly you can't get one from me becoz I'm not a retailer, but I'll send you a photo of the phone with the case tonight for your reference.
