Thread: LCD screen replacement failed! Please advise!

I have an HTC MP 6900 Touch Smartphone CDMA. The LCD screen got cracked and the display lit up and worked, but the crackes were blackened and the bad area was spreading. I opened it last night to replace the LCD screen (which I got from eBay). I followed the instructions per YouTube very carefully. It seemed to go smoothly. But when powered up, the new screen is black. Power, sound, and buttons light up, but no LCD screen display at all. I switched back to the old cracked screen, but got the same results > phone turns on but display screen is all black. If the phone is still working, what could be wrong that the screens don't light up at all? LL I’m hoping for advice ASAP, please!
