Default HTC is treating Indians as 2nd grade citizens.

We Indians has to wake up. The Updates given globally by htc is not being given to Indians. If you contact the customer care they ask 101 questions then finally say company policy is like that. For eg for HTC cruise the windows 6.1 upgrade was released in oct 2008, But they do not bother to give to Indian users. Do any one has such experience?

Trick the system! I have a UK Diamond & live in the US. When I went to download an upgrade I got "this update is not available for your device". I played around with the serial # a lil' & was able to get a download. If you serial is HT###KK#### Then change the first group of #s. for example if your serial were HT420FU#### then you would play with 420. start by using your own # as a basis; ie 417> 418> 419> 420> 421> 422> 423>... Do this until you find a ROM that works for you. The biggest problem is that you may not find one with an Indian language, but WWE {World Wide English} is always an option.
