Turn on the phone.

Unlike 3G, GPRS utilizes the standard cellular frequency that your voice service uses. As such, it cannot be acivatated or deactivated seperatley. If your GPRS were deactivated, you would not be able to place calls thru the device. If you are unable to recieve data thru your device {& you have a data account}, then you just need to setup the Data services on your device. Open the "Connections" control panel & setup the modem. You can call your cellular provider for the settings. Some providers allow OTA programming as well.
