    Default GPRS Set up.

    Hi What a superb forum for a new owner, Really sory to ask a question on my first visit but VERY stuck, I have just bought an unlocked diamond touch, It was on Vodafone and works fine on my Tmobile SIM,However I do not yet have GPRS 3g or any web connection, I have upgraded my Tmobile account and broadband plus will be activated on the 18th Of this month, To be ready for my big turn on could anybody PLEASE give me click by click instructions on setting up a Tmobile GPRS 3g Connection on a diamond touch, So as to be ready for my switch on, I an not very PC and all i get from Tmobile is they will send settings to phone but as its not their phone ???? I am stuck, Dont have a clue how to set up, Please help if you can,

    You can have the info sent to you via T-mobile's Over The Air service. I have programmed many devices using T-Mo's OTA setup. The device does not have to be T-Mo branded for this to work. I have used this service to programm many phones that were originally branded to AT&T, Cingular, Etc... This is the more recommended method.

    You can also do this manually by going into the "Connections" control panel. The settings can be found here: http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f315/t- ... 15680.html Just change wap.voicestream.com to epc.tmobile.com.
