Thread: Windows 6.5 for Touch Diamond 2

For all those interested in knowing when you will be able to upgrade your TD2 to Win 6.5, here's the latest answer (12 October 2009) from support (Europe):

I have a TD2 (T5353) bought last xmas. It's running WM6.1 Prof. and I tried to upgrade to WM6.5 by following your links. I got re-directed to the HTC site where I found 3 WM6.5 download options (Greek,Eng_Nov09,Eng_Jul09). I tried the more up-to-date English download and in entering my serial numbers I got a message "Software not compatible with the handset". So I checked the other English version download but on close inspection found that it had the same version no (1.39.479.2) as the one in my phone. Is it possible to have the same ROM version for different windows OS?
I am keen to see what 6.5 has but it seems I just can't find a reliable install point.

Please someone help!!
