Thread: complete breakdown of phone

so all of a sudden last night my fone decided to go crazy, where you need to put your pin number in if the phone locks itself, (ie if you leave it for however long you set it for or you hold the red key to lock it) and the touch screen completely stops working, cant put it the pin number or do anything with it, eventually after removing the battery and sim several times it came up with a new message saying 'several incorrect passwords have been entered, to continue password entry, enter 'a1b2c3' yet still it wont allow me to enter anything on the phone, it just does nothing whatsoever, also hard reset does not work either, i hold both up and down volume buttons, press power and it just starts up as normal, anyone have some help?

the hard reset procedure is missing a step: you should be pressing the reset button instead of on/off.
