Thread: HTC Diamond 2 connection icons

on my HTC diamond 2, i have always had a little icon in the top right hand side, next to the signal strength icon, it has always been a square with a capital H in it, yesterday i turned off my phone and took out the battery then replaced and turned off, now the H has changed to an icon that says 3G, why has this happened, how can i get it back to the H, and is this necessary??
